Voting for House of Commons Election now open

Londinium, Empires of Earth (AP) Earlier in the day, voting booths opened up in Empires of Earth for electing the new House of Common’s legislative body. Polls begin on January 20 and end at midnight on January 22nd.There are currently seven spots open and our candidates for this election include: Bootskitten, Atlantis, Knifeking, Gunster, VAC, JP, the Frenchman and Wennal. In the event that there are not enough voters, the House of Commons election would be extended for an undetermined amount of time. The Empire wishes the candidates best of luck in the election.

Interviews on Anniversary of Empires of Earth

Londinium, Empires of Earth (AP)On the anniversary of Empires of Earth’s founding, The Minister of Information has interviewed numerous people on this very important date for Empires of Earth.

How do you feel about the anniversary for Empires of Earth?
MGB- “I feel it is truly a remarkable event, I never expected it to go this far.”
Bootskitten- “I think it is awesome that we managed to get this far, and I am proud to be a part of this special occasion.”
Atlantis-“ I feel excited, that Empires of Earth will be a year old, but also I fear, may regions collapse and I hope the older Empires of Earth gets the more is prosepers, but the lack of recruitment is frightening”
Fate Averruncus-“ Well for the few months I've been here it has been swell and I wish such a wonderful region as Empires of Earth a happy anniversary of its founding and wish to celebrate its success with all the majesty of her fellow compatriots.”

What are some of your goals for Empires of Earth?

MGB- “To pass 300, open more relations, and have a more powerful army.”
Bootskitten- “Straighten out the monthly census and help out anyway I can. Also I hope to do some great things in the House of Commons.”
Atlantis- “We need to grow, we need people to recruit, I rarely see the Minister of Immigration and Deputy Minister of Immigration recruit so in another sense people have to starts doing their job, I hope to reach 300 nations and behond I also hope to get the forum to 75,000 posts.”
Fate Averruncus- “I hope to be more active although impossible as I'm rather busy in real life but I'd like to meet more people in EoE..my big ambition for Empires of Earth would be to make it an "Uber-Region" (Super-Region) that's even more respected in NS and to recruit more friends and allies and to expand our sphere of influence and affluence. But that's just fantasy I think my goal is for Empires of Earth to realistically reach this Pinnacle one step at a time.”

Lastly, Is there anything else that you would like to see the upcoming year in Empires of Earth?

MGB- “I'd like to see us become the biggest region in NS, but I doubt that is happening. ” laughs
Atlantis- “I would like Empires of Earth to be more active as I stated above, but also make some forum changes do some stuff regarding that, maybe starting new groups ect.”
Bootskitten- “I would like to see more activity in the forum and growth of Empires of Earth.”
Fate Averruncus- “Well I wouldn't mind if in the forum we had a personal profile section for country's which ask..like for example a section on MGB where we could organize everything about that particular country..and so on.. I wouldn't mind us having a "Royal Ball Room" for special events to celebrate 'role-playing'. I think we could use an Imperial Civil Service too.. as for the Region I want more recruits too.”
