Empire Undergoes Major Change

Changes in the office of the Ministry of Information
Londinium, Empires of Earth (AP)- As General BenjaminA's activity levels continued to deplete time and time again, the Empire's first major Minister of Information decided to leave NationStates. As of October 15, 2006 former Minister of Information General BenjaminA announced his resgination as Minister of Information. His Majesty, Most Great Britannia, announced a few minutes after General BenjaminA announced his resignation, that the new Minister of Information would be Bootskitten. Bootskitten's first two offical day's as Minister of Information was filled with mixed reaction within the Empires of Earth. Bootskitten looks forward to meeting with the other members of the Empires of Earth and is willing to discuss the concerns with the members. Most of all, the new Minister of Information is very excited about his new position and will do a great job. He has been gradually increasing activity both on the forum and on NationStates so as to become more of a player in imperial society with his new role. His Majesty has stated he is "very glad" with the new minister, and has approved of his job thus far with the statistics service.

United Nations proposes a Marriage Protective Act
United Nations HQ (PN)- The United Nations has recently proposed a Marriage Protective Act that is up for debate. Under this new Act, The United Nations would let individual nations decide their marriage laws, and the other nations would have to respect it and is asking the nations to recognize what marital status of all of the international visiters even though the country itself does not recognize it. New Minister of Information, Bootskitten thinks it is a great Idea and encourages his fellow Empire of Earth members to strongly think about it.
